Say it with the Façade
acc/es is a trendsetting concept of engelhorn group. The concept with high-end accessories of the international designer scene makes the product range of Engelhorn Mode im Quadrat complete and, at the same time, meets the customer’s demands for complete outfits – from clothing to shoes to bags.
The unconventional façade is a significant reflection of the company culture. Expressivity and timelessness grow together in the urban context. The corpus provides no clues regarding the division of the floors. Instead of dividing the façade horizontally – as suggested by the structure of the floors – the connection is diagonal. The interior space appears to curve towards the observer. The wedge-shaped glass surfaces shift like showcases beyond the closed surfaces, fusing the sales floors.
The expressive design is translated into the interior, the ceiling edges are detached from the façade. The interplay of open and closed, is transmitted into the room.
Simply elegant
The sales levels convey an elegant atmosphere, characterized by sensitive material like brazed glass, leather and natural stone and a simple design – for example of the cubical furniture.
In the center of the room there is a straight staircase which feels light and filigree due to the glazed balustrade with a leathern handrail. The levels are visually connected by dark metal chains which hang within the void like a kind of curtain. Behind the stairs there are individually designed focus walls. In the first and third level, sehlf boards are threaded on steel ropes laterally to the void. For the medial communication, there are screens behind Anthelio glass on every level.
