For more than 30 years, we have been successfully developing and planning national and international projects. Founded in 1989 in Stuttgart, our firm has four locations and about 250 employees from 24 countries. Together, they represent 15 different disciplines. And they have one goal in mind: to find the best creative solution to meet our clients’ needs, across all phases of a project, from initial evaluation to execution.

Transdisciplinarity is our recipe for success: whether for office, retail, residential, mixed-use urban developments or public sector buildings. With us, all disciplines come together right from the start. Experts from the fields of architecture, communication, interior and product design sit together at one table. That’s how we find new ways of tackling challenges – seeing them through the eyes of others – thereby achieving better results and sustainable architecture.
Design Strategy: That’s what we call the spark of innovation that ignites a project. We involve the client in the development process from the start and as the project develops, in order to keep their wishes front and center. It’s the only way to find a solution upon which everyone can agree. Our Strategy and Consulting division has been managed independently through our subsidiary, blocher partners sens, since 2022.
Sustainable construction is existential for us as a company and therefore for the planning and realisation of our projects. In order to meet this need in detail, we thus founded blocher partners sustain. In doing so, we are further expanding the expertise of our transdisciplinary planning office.

Product design by blocher partners
Over the years, various products have been developed in connection with our projects. This in turn has led to the creation of our own product design unit, which already has developed several innovative lighting fixtures, seating furniture and a room-within-a-room system – including in collaboration with well-known manufacturers. Some of our ideas have thus made it beyond our Stuttgart headquarters at Herdweg 19 to serial production, landing in stores and offices worldwide.
Signposting guidance and orientation systems
You can profit from our expertise: We know how to bring people to their goal, simply and intuitively. Especially when it comes to larger properties like residential complexes, shopping malls or underground garages, finding the perfect guidance system can be a challenge. Our sister company, typenraum, has the expertise and experience to get you where you need to go, whether you prefer analogue or digital, whether you select a separate service or incorporate it into an overall architecture or interior design project.
