Not far from the historic old town of Herrenberg, an urban residential quarter with 167 apartments is being developed, which is divided into two planning areas: The perimeter block development in the south and west is complemented in the interior by three linear structures in timber construction with private gardens. A staggered residential courtyard connects the two planning areas and forms a green center. The competition design, which was awarded 1st prize, also includes a perspective extension of the neighborhood to the east.
