Competition entry for two museums — Kevadia, Gujarat, India — 45.000 m² — Department of Archaeology and Museums, Government of Gujarat
Two museums with a strong presence
Thanks to its striking shape the Museum of Royal Kingdoms (a composition made of rammed clay and brickwork) is visible from afar. Connected by a visitor platform, the Gujarat Vandana Museum opposite features an expressive roof made of large concrete shells. Both designs integrate sustainable solutions such as solar energy and groundwater cooling.
