Balm for the soul
The Holistic Health Care Center is situated in delightful rural surroundings in Tamil Nadu. About 100 beds are distributed across several apartment buildings and villas with an own swimming pool.
The center is zoned into various introverted and extroverted suites of rooms – from common areas to private courtyards. In accordance with the concept of naturopathic healing, natural cross-ventilation and shade are important elements in every building. Construction is carried out in a simple style, using locally available materials. The planting of vegetation plays a special role in the project: it forms part of the design, creating expanded architectural spaces outdoors.
