Graphic concept for a flagship store — 1,100 m² — Königsallee 88, 40212 Dusseldorf, Germany — Victorinox AG

Above Average

The Victorinox flagship store in Düsseldorf's best shopping district – with its elegant two-story glass façade and eye-catching logo – lures customers into its brand world, centred around the red Swiss Army knife. And in so doing, this traditional company shows that the best products have an authentic story. That story is also told via the graphic communication in the space.

Numerous details – in 2-D and 3-D – help clients internalize the Victorinox values: The basic motif of the army knife permeates the space, for example as a red pixel graphic and as subtle typographic terms that express the essence of the company. The product and its use are closely linked in the graphic design. Together with brand content and interior design, this engenders a thoroughly convincing experiential world.
