Urban meets alpine
As part of blocher partners’ new construction, reconstruction and extension of the Schuster sports store in Munich, the gourmet Alpina Bar was born. Located right next to the Rindermarkt, the restaurant features modern design elements – including exposed concrete and industrial glazing along with historic enamel lamps, oak tables and wood-panelled walls – that create an inviting space for guests. A black monolith of sea pine surrounds the kitchen and an eye-catching fresco painting circles the bar. Cut into the monolith is the wood-panelled Gute Stube, a separate sitting area. Since 1996, blocher partners has been collaborating with Schuster. Its accomplishments include the new construction, reconstruction and expansion of the sporting good store in 2018.
