Renovation and redesign of the auction house — Sporerstraße 6-8 and Marktplatz 10, 70173 Stuttgart — 3,850 m² — August 2025 — EPPLI am Markt Auktionshaus Juwelier e. K.

Space for valuables

In the heart of Stuttgart, the new Eppli auction house combines tradition and innovation. The building at Sporerstraße 6–8 and Marktplatz 10 brings together auctions, a jewelry store, fashion sales, and expert advice. The design creates a place that architecturally interweaves history and craftsmanship while offering state-of-the-art functionality.
The conversion of a historic building complex in the center of Stuttgart was a challenging task. Old structures were supplemented with modern requirements, with a focus on the careful integration of new ceilings, structural interventions, and technical upgrades such as the vault rooms. The spatial concept, which sensibly distributes workshops, retail space, and offices, preserves the authenticity of the location while enabling innovative use.

Characterful atmosphere with stylish design

The interiors combine classic Eppli elements with modern accents. Authentic materials such as stucco, carpets, and antique furniture meet elegant surfaces and contemporary details. Accent colors such as blue in the fashion area and warm gray tones characterize the design. Craft workshops for watchmakers and goldsmiths are visibly integrated, celebrating the company's craftsmanship.
