Conversion of an office building — Berlin — eight storeys — technology company

Working environment with industrial charm

The "Eierspeicher" building at Berlin's Osthafen harbour is an iconic building that has seen a lot and experienced many uses since its construction in 1929. Most recently, it housed the offices of Universal Music, but now an up-and-coming global technology company wants to use the space for its own purposes. In competition with other architectural firms, we were able to convince the client of our idea and our expertise in a transparent and participatory process.

Our concept envisages a flexible office building that is suitable for the company's rapid growth as well as providing flexible space for subletting. The design aims to create a holistic working environment that is not only functional but also inspiring and reflects the typical character of Berlin.
