Conversion and extension of a jewellery shop — Kaiserstraße 12, 90403 Nuremberg, Germany — 520 m² — 2024 — Bucherer AG
Elegance meets history
In the heart of Nuremberg, blocher partners has realised a store concept for Bucherer in a post-war building. For the realisation, the planning office combined three shop units to create a spacious sales area. Impressive: the floor-to-ceiling glazing of the façade on the ground floor, which provides a clear view of the interior.
The interior design reflects Bucherer's luxurious brand identity through a skilful interplay of materials such as parquet flooring, wood and marble. At the same time, the design reflects the era in which the building was constructed - colours and exposed aggregate concrete walls set accents that pay tribute to the historical context and integrate the store into its surroundings.
On the ground floor, striking light rods zone the watch and jewellery areas, aid orientation, perfectly showcase the products and thus emphasise the exclusivity of the brand presentation. A spiral staircase leads to the basement, where customers can find Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) watches as well as an event area.
Modern dynamics
The visual merchandising rounds off the store experience and gives the space a contemporary dynamic. The store combines history and modernity and makes a clear statement for high-quality architecture and interior design with its exclusive design.
With this concept, blocher partners demonstrates how well thought-out design can enhance the value of a brand and a location in equal measure. The store combines the history of the building with Bucherer's innovative strength and offers customers a shopping experience that combines aesthetic quality and functionality.
