Differentiated residential area

The new district with 75 residential units is destined to function as the outer limit of Remseck’s Aldingen district while also linking existing and future neighbourhoods. Characteristic features include a densely planted noise barrier, which encloses the quarter on three sides, and site access from north to south. Inclusion of three different housing typologies – terrace housing in north-south and east-west directions, as well as two standalone blocks – means several green courtyards are created, while spatial quality and natural lighting are exploited to the full. And thanks to a shared underground car park, the district itself remains free of cars.
