Online Event | Timber-Hybrid | New7 Mannheim

The online event organised by the BUILTWORLD event platform is dedicated to the topic of inner-city transformation and new urbanity in Mannheim. The project New7, the former Galeria Kaufhof building, which blocher partners is transforming into a sustainable mixed-use project together with Diringer & Scheidel as project developer, client and general contractor, serves as an example of the adaptation of urban spaces to the changing needs of the population.

The building, which was once a symbol of retail in the city, is now being transformed into flexible office and retail space to promote economic activity in the city centre. At the same time, new urban living space is being created from the 2nd to the 6th floor in timber hybrid construction. Together with our Managing Partner Benjamin Blocher, Alexander Langendörfer and Bernhard Bauer, both Managing Directors of Diringer & Scheidel, will discuss innovative approaches and the creation of vibrant urban spaces in the panel.
