Both roll up their sleeves with their teams when it comes to urban development. A perennial topic, which is used here with a different word for a change: Experience competition. In addition, for the people of Stuttgart, of course, it's all about Stuttgart 21 and the opportunities arising from this world-famous project that is paralyzing half the city center.

We talk about entrepreneurs who live out local patriotism with their innovations, about the courage of developers, about architects who build for themselves. It has to be about the one-size-fits-all in #urbandevelopment. My interviewees cite Hamburg and Düsseldorf as beacons of how to do it right.

We also touch on depoliticized discussions, ask ourselves whether key positions are always filled correctly, look for an answer to the question of whether block building always exists and why empty department stores in city centers can certainly have advantages.
