Gemeinsam für CO₂-Entnahme im Bau blocher partners sustain ist Gründungsmitglied

In the future, sustainable construction will mean not only avoiding emissions—but also actively removing CO₂ from the atmosphere. With the new “Alliance for CO₂ Removal in Construction” launched by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), this topic is gaining momentum. Our sustainability consulting firm, blocher partners sustain, has been involved from the very beginning as a founding member.
The Alliance was officially launched on September 23, 2026. The initiative brings together companies from the construction and real estate sectors, building materials manufacturers, design firms, research institutions, associations, and investors. Together, they aim to make carbon dioxide removal practical for buildings, infrastructure, and open spaces—through knowledge-building, market promotion, appropriate policy frameworks, and best-practice examples.
