The central department stores of the Future Group are present in every major city in India, today. The first, in Bangalore, had its grand opening in 2005 and has now been extensively modernized and renovated while remaining open for business. An eye-catcher on the street level: the newly designed and very inviting main entrance. On the inside, the extended 6,000-square-metres floor space is designed in an elegant, minimalist style with boutique flair.
Key looks for each department
Each department has its own distinctive key look: artwork with an oriental feel in the Women’s department, wooden slats in the Men’s, exposed brick and wire mesh in the jeans area and elephant-shaped furniture and jungle imagery in the Children’s section. blocher partners India was presented with the VM&RD Retail Design Award for its compelling design concept.
